MINI CAMPS Happy Summer Brook Valley Families. The GCC swim team would like to extend the invitation to your swimmers for the opportunity to participate in a series of MINI Camps this summer. These will take place on Friday mornings, from 8-10. Each Mini Camp will focus on all aspects of one stroke including stroke technique, turns, and starts. Please keep in mind that these are not intended to be swim lessons, but rather an opportunity for your swimmers to fine tune their strokes and get additional instruction. If your children have friends on other teams who would like to participate in a camp, please feel free to pass this email along. Coaches for the camps will include ECU Head Assistant Kate Gordon, ECU Associate Head Coach Matt Jabs, as well as some special guests though out the summer including top collegiate swimmer and Olympic Gold Medalist, Lauren Perdue, as well as some of our top ECU Swimmers. The cost will be $30 for one swimmer and $25 for each additional swimmer for each camp. The dates for these clinics are listed below. Our first one will be next Friday. Cash and checks will be accepted. All checks can be made out to Kate Gordon. Please email me at [email protected] no later than the Wednesday prior to the Mini Camp so I can get accurate numbers and the camp can be staffed appropriately.
