MINI-COVERED HALL CONSTRUCTED Damauli, June 20: A mini-covered hall has been constructed at BP Banbatika in Vyas Municipality-10, Tanahun district. The mini-covered hall was constructed at a cost of Rs 5.545 million. The Paras Construction Service had got the responsibility to construction the hall. The construction company handed over the hall to the District Sports Development Committee after completing the construction works within nine months, said company proprietor Krishna Narayan Shrestha. Different games including judo, karate, boxing, table tennis, badminton and volleyball could be played in the hall, he added. According to the District Sports Development Committee, preparation was underway to demand budget to construct other physical infrastructures including gate, toilet and canteen. Players, coaches and sports lovers in the district are happy after the construction of the covered hall. RSS
