MINOR FLOOD WARNING FOR THE ISAAC RIVER Issued on Sunday 25 January 2015 by the Bureau of Meteorology, Brisbane. Issue Number: 4 Minor flood levels are nearing a peak in the Isaac River at Yatton. Widespread rainfall totals between 50 mm and 100 mm were recorded since Wednesday in the Fitzroy catchment and have resulted in river level rises in the Connors, Isaac, Nogoa and Lower Dawson Rivers. No significant widespread rainfall is forecast across the Fitzroy catchment over the remainder of the weekend. CONNORS AND ISAAC RIVERS: River levels are easing in the Connors River. Minor flood levels are expected to peak in the Isaac River at Yatton Sunday afternoon. NOGOA RIVER: River levels have eased below the minor flood level in the Nogoa River upstream of Emerald. LOWER DAWSON: River levels have eased in the Lower Dawson River. Predicted River Heights/Flows: ISAAC RIVER at: YATTON: River levels are expected to peak below the moderate flood level (9.5 metres) Sunday afternoon. NOGOA RIVER at: EMERALD: River levels are expected to remain below the minor flood level (14.0 metres). Remember: If its flooded, forget it.
