MINOR FLOOD WARNING FOR THE LOWER FLINDERS RIVER Issued on Sunday 25 January 2015 by the Bureau of Meteorology, Brisbane. Issue Number: 9 Minor flood levels are likely at Walkers Bend early next week. Showers and thunderstorms are forecast across the Gulf River catchments for the next few days. CLONCURRY RIVER: River levels remain high on the lower Cloncurry River at Canobie. FLINDERS RIVER: River levels continue to ease on the Flinders River at Etta Plains after peaking around 6.3 metres on Friday afternoon. Predicted River Heights/Flows: FLINDERS RIVER at: WALKERS BEND: River levels will continue rising with water levels likely to exceed the minor flood level (5.0 metres) early next week. Remember: If its flooded, forget it.
