MIRACLE MIRACLE Damthang/South Sikkim : A dead body is not showing any sign of decay even after 38 days of her demise. Late Diki Sherpa, mother of Rinpoche Dawas Sangpo Dorjee had passed away on August 7 at an age of 72 years. The body shows no signs of decomposing. There is no smell and the body temperature is normal. Even forensic experts from Gangtok who checked the body have been left astounded. People from different areas and senior monks are visiting and paying their respects to the deceased, said that they have never seen such a ‘miracle’ before and that with the news spreading people are coming from all over the state as well as from Bhutan, West Bengal, Darjeeling and Nepal to get a darshan. The body is placed at Norbu Yangdup Choling monastry in Diu-Damthang.
