MISCOCEPTIONS ON A REVOLUTION. First there is no revolution in Egypt, it is just a barbaric military coup. The coup reminds us the bad history of Africa, where the men in uniform could senselessly cause havoc and direct the state towards failure. Egypt, once a promising economy is on the verge of joining the league of Congo, Mali and Somali. What is in Egypt is anarchy- total disrespect of institutions. We are far from having a typical revolution in our times. Say the French, Bolshevik and Americam revolution. What we have in Egypt is a pandemonium and far from a far- reaching change in ways of thinking and behaving. It is a consequence of pathological fear of change that would have been initiated by Morsi and his Muslim brotherhood. Again, it is laughable to hear Kenyans calling for a revolution. We are usually given a chance to initiate a peaceful one after every 5 yrs.
