MISFITS : To question the belief system in our country will offend MY FELLOW NIGERIANS which includes NIGERIANS in DIASPORA. If Ive not lived else where in the world and see how other ppl think n live, Ill easily accept our current state as the best we can do as a nation/people. I have to admit Nigerians are the most HYPOCRITICAL ppl have ever Known! On that note, Ill limit my discussion to Nigerians. Hardly can one have a good conversation with any NIGERIAN that last more than 5mins and not hear the name of GOD injected out of no where. If Ua also unfortunate to prolong the conversation for more than 30mins, there will be some form of prayer thrown in it 4 good measure. Nigerians are quick to quote verses of either of the Holy books as supporting evident of whatever they want U to take from it. Ive wondered to myself, if something was wrong with ME for not thinking like most ppl? I also wondered, why my country is in quagmire with this much GODLINESS in the land? To help me understand this dilemma, I started paying attention to the ppl n surrounding to understand this mentality. My enquiry was at first confusing, probing it further revealed a systematic consciousness to be SEEN to BELIEF than to SINCERELY believe in GOD(HYPOCRISY) I suppose. Its the tale of parallel lines. A situation where WORDS and ACTIONS are CONTRADICTORY. I find that the most dishonest ppl are the ones that profess GOD THE MOST. Those that lack INTEGRITY falsely project HOLINESS. Interesting is, in our DECEIT, weve reduced God 2 THINK and ACT like man. The arrogant definition we confer on GOD beg question of our mental sanity. Its only in Nigeria that ppl will tell U they know God BETTER than U, very JUDGE-MENTAL pple...lollll!!! Hard to explain is, the city/environment of SIN where everybody is HOLY. Theres something wrong with what we claim we believe bttr than anyone else. Our claimed knowledge of God is so sound but STILL ....U cant find Godliness in the land...HOW BIZARRE? A mystery Im yet to uncover. Somehow we forget GOD is not the exclusive property of any PEOPLE or COUNTRY. Here is NIGERIA/NIGERIANs ...a COUNTRY/PEOPLE with no LOVE, no TRUST, no INTEGRITY, no COMPASSION or CHARITY, yet we claim we serve and know GOD bttr than the rest of the world...mtche.....JOKERs.....
