***MISSING HIS OWNER WHO DIED!!!*** Blue has just had the worst days of his young life. First, his owner died and neighbors take him to sit in a cage at Brooklyn ACC. He sits in that cage 24x7 for days wondering why he was abandoned, why he just couldn’t go home, why he had to live this nightmare. When it came time for his behavioral eval, Blue was clearly in a defensive note. He got scared playing tag, got scared when some stranger squeezed his paw and stared right in his eyes and got scared when that strange dog came in the room. For all of that, ACC has put Blue on tomorrow’s euthanasia list and made him NH only. Tonight, Blue needs a very saavy dog owner who understands that this 3 year old is more than able to learn how not to be scared, is more than able to learn how to get along with the pack, is more than able of connecting to a new human who won’t leave him. He will need careful intros and supervision with any other dogs, will need a strong foster or adopter to train him in the finer things of being a good boy. If you’re that person, start applying to rescues to foster or adopt Blue. Do it now—tomorrow at noon, ACC won’t waste another thought about Blue—they’ll just make him gone.
