MISSING MH370 - SPECULATION One of the many speculations some people have made about the missing Malaysian Airlines MH370 aircraft, officially and unofficially, is the possibility of a hijack and, until the Black Box is found, this possibility cannot be ruled out. Some say that the hijackers who took over the aircraft, comprised of maybe two or three people and one of them was a woman. It included an aviation expert and one who knew the Boeing 777-200 aircraft type inside out and another person. Some went further to suggest that the aviation expert knew more about the aircraft than the MAS Captain who piloted the ill-fated aircraft. The crew may have been overcome before the hijackers took over control of the aircraft. Something went wrong after that and the aircraft went missing when it reached South Indian Ocean, so went the story. The story continued to say that since the amount of air that the passengers breathed could be controlled from the cockpit, the rogue pilot who took over control of the aircraft had reduced the amount of air to make the original crew and the passengers in the aircraft semi-conscious after each of them donned oxygen masks. The hijackers also knew where to fly and at what height to avoid detection. Furthermore, the flight path that they took along the southern corridor over the Indian Ocean is believed to be a ‘blind spot’. However, things turned awry when they discovered that they were out of fuel and it was too late for anything to be done to correct the situation. All the passengers and the original crew members had, by then, already lost consciousness. The aircraft took a dip and that was it and if the aircraft had gone into the ocean, the only people who felt the pain and suffered the consequences were the hijackers. If that speculation was true then, the hijackers must have had made their plans months before that and they must have studied the flight plan and characteristics very thoroughly before they began their operations. They would have travelled on many MH370 flights before that to make sure that they knew all the details about the flight. I wonder if MAS or the other relevant authorities, such as the Immigration Dept., checked the passenger manifests of Flight MH370 over the last six month period, at least, to see if there were any passengers who had travelled on them more frequently than regular passengers normally would and identified them. They may have used false passports and identifications but their photos and fingerprints should be the same all the time, if I guess correctly. If that information could be obtained, they would help facilitate the authorities concerned with the investigation. As - Salaam. HAK
