MJ UPDATE: Good news: I just beat level 105 on Candy Crush! Better News: MJ came out of surgery just fine. While they did have to open her chest (for a 3rd time), they were able to extend the aorta (thanks to a donor) which is no longer resting on the airway to her left lung. The surgeon said as soon as they did the extension the left lung opened back up, regained color and started working perfectly again. While we are grateful for all of our blessings and victories we are still diligently praying for her brain. That God would restore her brainwaves and give her the plan and purpose that he promised for her. That MJ would not be limited by any circumstances that are beyond her control. That she would have the choice to be the smartest or not so smartest kid in her class. (Heck, maybe she will even want to be valedictorian.) My prayer is that she will be able to be whatever it is she wants to be, without ANY limitations! I am thanking God not only for the success of this surgery but believing in faith that this will be the last surgery she has to have for her heart! I am also believing that the worst is behind us. Sure, there might be more obstacles ahead, but I am sure there are far more behind us than there are in front of us.
