MLA (Prof. Kiran Walia) of the area as a observer : I Anjali Ghosh resident of B-2 Block Kothi No.18 off Africa Avenue, Safdarjung Enclave residing at this address from 1966 and I being a Social Activist to uplift the society apart from my professional work my higher study is overseas marketing after Pol. Science (Hon.) graduation. Being a daughter of a freedom fighter who also had been in Alipur Jail after his science (Physics/Chemistry) graduation. In this context I have travel for my professional work to various overseas countrys and only thing what attracted me was sparkling clean cities. Even Ghettos in India call it “Jhoper Patti” For last 15 years I found and observe very many progress in our city Delhi. Our MLA Prof. Kiran Walia being firstly Academic Politician MLA, who is always smiling and receiving all visiting person with full of warmth which is very exciting even after voting the electoral are normally not recognized. But with Kiran Walia as MLA she knows her area persons by name and keeps their mobile number. She is a MLA who visits her area Monday, Wednesday and Friday. She has done very much progressive work without giving lectures (BHASAN). She has done in practicality which is a result oriented BHASAN not only verbal. (1). Deep well pump for maintaining greenery between B-2 block and B-5 block Safdarjung Enclave, behind Matri Mandir and and Ram Mandir. (2). Matri Mandir approached to MLA Prof. Kiran Walia expressing desire to have physiotherapy center for the equipments as the senior citizen can not climb the staircase and Matri Mandir had made room in the ground floor. (3). Kiran Walia with her effort got the equipments absolutely through her persuasion and today the Physiotherapy center at Ground Floor where senior citizen can go and take Physiotherapy is fully working where the Physiotherapy doctors are present are present in morning and evening. (4). Prof. Kiran Walia is always found with her area in any family social functions if she is been informed. Even she is being the Minister of state of three Port polios. (5). Kiran Walia knows her area residents by name and each of the resident’s mobile number. (6). I Anjali Ghosh being a resident at the address staying for the last 47 years. It used to always keep harping my mind a huge open nala at A-2 Block going to A-1 Block Safdarjung Enclave which was a den of garbage, mosquito, malaria, Dengue, etc. Now Kiran Walia MLA has started covering nala which is immensely beneficial not only for Safdarbjung Encave but also for Nauroji Nagar citizens. (7). I was told that Kiran Walia MLA has also taken up Gautam Nagar nala, and I am sure she will complete it, as observed her commitment is practicality in all other area but for the rain the work is getting hampered. But I am sure she will ensure the completion in full. (8). In her tenor of MLA ship the S. J Enclave people get to pay property tax where special camp is organized at Ram Mandir B-5 block and Community center at B-4 block. (9). Widow Pension:- Being an old resident many BPL widow approaches me to help to fill up the forms either for pension or for Ration Card. when ever I had taken such poor ladies to MLA Kiran Walia’s residence office she receives with smile and a big warmth and work she advices her OSD or her PA to get the form properly arranged and she signs immediately. (10). I must mention that last one year from 1st of July I have taken up a project of German company to upgrade Govt. Hospital labs with latest generation R-PCR and Re-agents in this context I had to visit each and very Gov. Hospitals having meeting with MS and HOD and it a pleasure that every hospital had complemented stating “Ex-Health Minister Being An Academic Used To Take Actions And Decision Very Fast, It Was A Pleasure To Work With Such Minister Who Did Not Made Million Time Visiting Her Office.” (11). In the year 2012 month of Aug, suddenly I got call from A-2 block RWA and also B-4 Block RWA stating about the terrible problem of Dengue and 4 person expire. I without thinking called MCD director Mr. N.K Yadav and expressed the need of fogging. Thinking for every small work we should do something of our self instead of every time troubling and calling Prof. Kiran Walia. Though Kiran offer own had taken up the matter very seriously but with me the contractor of fogging person simply showed anger by giving a false challan and I ended up paying Rs. 5,500/- at Municipal Court Dwarka, Court No. 12, without any fault of mine. Letter on I came to know MCD belongs to BJP. Friends don’t think I am writing this perhaps she has helped me but unfortunately I have approached twice for my personal work with Govt. she tried but result was not fruitful with Petroleum Minister Murli Deora, under who’s Ministry subsidiary company M/S Balmer Lawrie company Ltd. Kolkata where I wanted to settle my company fund and which was stuck up and still not cleared. Every year it’s getting acroode interest of bank. I wanted to settle 192.5 crore out of 600 crore even strange happened. A letter to Minister and Chairman was written by area MLA and social welfare Minister. The answer what I got said the present rule is telephone call. I asked that means the signature of Minister do not hold any weight? I that mean without signature on cheque money can be drawn from nationalized bank giving a phone call. This rule is ridiculous. So, friends my observation is dispersal. We should give our all effort to support and back up to Prof. Kiran Walia for our own benefit of the area. Known MLA is always better than a new MLA in politics who will take three to four years to know you and understand your difficulty and with a new MLA you will not be able to approach. I being a non-political person neither a member of any party I goby the result and interpersonal relationship. Anjali Ghosh
