MLK VOLUNTEERS: Nineteen hard-working and enthusiastic Mount Union students showed up Monday morning at the pantry as part of the universitys MLK Day of Service. Working with other pantry volunteers, they gave the pantry the deep cleaning it doesnt get on a daily basis. They cleaned then restocked shelves in the shopping area, washed windows, cleaned walls, chairs and appliances, and vacuumed, swept and mopped the floors. Coordinated by Abby Honaker of the Regula Center for Public Service and Civic Engagement, who is also a pantry board member, more than 400 students worked throughout the city in 26 non-profit organizations.
