MMM - Sunday 07 December 2014 Well I didnt see that coming. 2 bouts of unexpected surgery on Thursday but at least its over and I didnt have long to think about it! I think the worst bit was the anaesthetist being unable to get the canulla in to administer the anaesthetic….he tried 3 times in different places….yikes! A follow up op is needed at the end of the year and that hopefully will be it. At least this time they didnt get my notes mixed up with the vasectomy as they did previously…. This weeks Mellow Moment reminds me of that surreal state when you slip into unconsciousness during operations and when you emerge the other side truly thankful that everything has gone swimmingly and youre in the hands of true professionals (apart from the canulla malarkey maybe!).
