MOCHOBOROANE FIRED!!!!! The Minister of Communications Science and Technology, Selibe Mochoboroane has been relieved of his ministerial duties from the government of Lesotho effective immediately (16th October 2014) by order of His Majesty King Letsie III acting in accordance with an advice of the Prime-Minister Dr. Motsoahae Tom Thabane! In his place, the Minister of Education and Training Makabelo Mosothoane will hold fort as acting Minister of Communications Science and Technology until a substantive candidate has been found to fill the vacant post. Since the advent of the coalition government in 2012, Mochoboroane becomes the second minster to vacate that portfolio after Tseliso Mokhosi who went on to become Minister of Energy Meteorology and Water Affairs following Dr. Timothy Thahanes ouster from government. Former minister Mochoboroane will however remain Member of Parliament for the Thabana-Morena # 52 constituency which he won under the LCD banner in the 2012 general elections!
