MOH are not as common as neuros seem to think for sure but generally it seems the majority of us know with chronic migraines... there will be migraines you cannot treat simply because you have too many migraines and you have to limit medication due to risk of rebounding. Many of us are very aware of this. We are more concerned about the fact we have all this unmanaged pain business going on. However, 1% is something to consider... if you think this might be a factor. Simply because then you can really decrease your frequency again. And that sure would be a nice thing. "However, too much of a good thing can be a bad thing. People who take headache medication too frequently may actually make their headaches worse and more common. Frequent use of headache medication can cause medication-overuse headache (MOH). MOH is also known as rebound headache. Eventually, these people may develop chronic migraines. Migraine headaches affect about 12 percent of Americans. Medication-overuse headaches affect about one percent. (2)" healthline/health/migraine/medications-causing-headaches#1
