MOMMY QUESTION: my son is 5 and up until halloween last year, was almost completely potty trained, just sometimes peeing in his diaper at night. he was in a car accident and diagnosed with pediatric PTSD but otherwise cleared of any physical problem to be causing the issue weve been having since then. no matter whether he is wearing a diaper, pull-up, underwear, or running around bare bottom, he will pee and poo freely anywhere in the house. he has no shame at all in it and even though i ask him very frequently to use the toilet, he wont go potty in the toilet at all. hell just sit there and strain then tell me hes done but immediately go in his diaper afterward. ive tried bribing him with rewards for going potty, taking away privileges in response to him going in his diaper, and having him pick out any kind of underwear he wants in the hopes that he wont want to mess them up with poo and hed be more willing to be re-potty trained. nothing is working. should i just keep doing what im doing and hope that eventually hell cooperate, or is there something else i can try?
