MONDAY 25TH AUGUST BE CONTENTED “For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we carry nothing out. And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.” 1 Timothy 6:7-8 To be content is to accept in faith and a thankful heart that, which God in His infinite grace and mercy has given us. Know that you are far better than some people; even though you are seeing your neighbour’s situation as better off than your own. Where you are, is a prayer point for somebody; and in everything, just learn to be grateful to God. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 17: 1 that “better is a dry morsel, and quietness therewith, than a house full of sacrifices with strife”. God knows your present situation and He knows the best time to raise you up. God’s time is the best time. Hebrews 13: 5 says, “let your conversation be without covetousness, and be content with such things as ye have: for He hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee”. You are so important to God. He cannot leave you alone neither will He forsake you. Trust Him to the last. Trust Him with all your life. You don’t need to covet after another man’s property. Be content with what God has given you and He will do more for you. WORD OF PRAYER:- Dear Lord, I look up to you for survival and I know you are more than able to supply all my needs according to your riches in glory in Jesus’ name, Amen. QUOTE:- Contentment gives more satisfaction than money can give.
