MONDAY: 7/29/20013 - DAY 17 - EVENING UPDATE: LISA MARIE WHALEN ONEY KEEP PRAYING - LISA IS STABLIZING AND READY FOR SURGERY TOMORROW MORNING. HOORAY. Lisa is ready for surgery tomorrow and resting peacefully tonight. All her stats are right on time with being well enough for her to possibly come off the ventilator tomorrow afternoon. The skin grafts will help her recover from the infection more quickly. Alright, Lisa Marie. SURGERY STILL A GO FOR TOMORROW MORNING AT 10:00 am She is still on the ventilator but chest xrays are showing much improvement - POSITIVE. She is getting more alert with each day and she was actually smiling this evening. Please keep praying. Wonderful news - Keep up the Fight my Lisa girl. We love you. The sons and daughter in law visited her today and I know that is giving her more strength to fight the fight. Her two grandchildren are the light of her life. They are too young for the burn unit so Brooke was going to put a pict of the kids by her bed so she can see them. This is a good way to motivate Lisa. Put in front of her the reasons she must fight. However, I learned she cant have anything like that in the Burn ICU so it will be there for when she goes to step down. Looks like she is going to get there. GOD IS AN AWESOME POWER. Her mom, Carleen and Grandma, Mary Whalen are up in heaven cheering a squad of Guardian Angels - Uncle Dean, Uncle Don, Grandpa Whalen, Auntie Kit, etc., etc. God hears our pleas.
