MONDAY 7TH APRIL ALL THINGS ARE YOURS “According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue.” 2 Peter 1:3 Take your time to meditate on the passage above. One of the things that every Christian can say about God’s nature/ personality is that He never changes. The bible tells us that ‘’His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness’’. It is already given. Our knowledge of economics helps us know that a constant is something that never changes and is unaffected by any factor. That is exactly how constant the gift God has given us is. Why? Because He never changes and His gifts are without repentance (Numbers 23:23) Now you may ask ‘’why do I still suffer lack?” Look through the passage again. We obtain the gifts given by God through our knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and virtue (goodness). What limits us is the lack of knowledge and application of that knowledge. We must learn to study the word of God and put more effort into building our relationship with God. ‘’God’s word is alive and active, sharper than a double edged sword....’’ (Hebrews 4:12). Let His word permeate your being. Immerse yourself into a word study so that when a challenge comes your way, you are able to remind God of the promises He has made to you in His word. God is always true to His word. God’s promises are constant, but your knowledge is variable. Desire to grow, so that you can lay hold on all He has freely given unto you, for all things are yours. WORD OF PRAYER:- Dear Lord, help me to grow in your knowledge and to apply this knowledge so that I can receive your promises for me in Jesus’ name, Amen.
