MONDAY EVENING ICU UPDATE: Rhonda has not had much change in condition since this afternoon when she spiked a high fever with her blood pressure dropping and showing signs of reoccurring septic like symptoms. The ICU room she is currently in does not have adequate space for me to stay with her so I have checked into a Comfort Inn not too far from the hospital to be close by in the event I am needed during the night. Our firstborn daughter Rachel is with me. It was hard to leave the hospital as I have not left her overnight since we arrived last Wednesday for her surgery. I have realized over these last few days just how much I love her. She is the bride of my youth. We dated two years and have been married almost 29 years. I need this feisty, bossy, spitfire in my life. She really does compliment and complete me. At times I feel so helpless to rescue her, but I know that our God is able to infuse her mortal body with His resurrecting power and for this I earnestly pray and believe. Thank you again for remembering her in your evening prayers. We are overwhelmed with thanksgiving for the abounding outpouring of love, grace, compassion, and encouragement we are receiving from the Body of Christ. Thank you for caring. May you rest well this evening.
