MONDAY, June 2 Joshua 1:7. Only be strong and very courageous, being careful to act in accordance with all the law that my servant Moses commanded you; do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, so that you may be successful wherever you go. I’ve heard it said that Christians are not called to be successful but to be faithful. Joshua seems to contradict that—God says his faithfulness will always lead to success. I can think of many folks who were both faithful and successful. But I can think of at least as many who were deeply faithful and failed anyway.
