MONDAY MOTIVATION Ive never been one to post the progress - TopicsExpress

MONDAY MOTIVATION Ive never been one to post the progress pictures I take for coaching purposes but I think theres an important message to be made by sharing this so Im making an exception. I created this comparison the Wednesday before my last competition. To be honest, I made it because I had gotten sick the Sunday before the show and was feeling a little unsure. (Yep, I have those thoughts too sometimes) I wanted to see how things compared to the final week of my last show so I could put my mind at ease. These are pictures from the Wednesday morning before my last three shows (left to right) : #NY PRO- 3rd #Toronto Pro- 2nd #prestigecrystalcup- 1st 😊 My weight was the same the first two shows and actually up by .5lbs on the most current picture. This might not be the most dramatic comparison but thats the point I actually want to make. ~~ My weight was the same the first two shows and actually up by .5lbs on the most current picture. This might not be the most dramatic comparison but thats the point I actually want to make. ~Change happens gradually.~ Sometimes its hard to even realize its happening because the changes are so minor. Its very important to remember that efforts and progress add up over time. Small continuous efforts everyday become big the dramatic changes in the long run. I always strive to step on stage with a better package than the last time and when competitions are only 2 , 3, or 6 weeks apart it can be hard to see the progress being made. In this case, my placings do reflect the improvements made but that is NOT always an indicator of personal physique progress. (Thats another topic in itself.) The detail that was added to my physique (not just the tan😜) as I continued to train and diet is a result of being consistent. Im super excited to see what 7 more weeks of that will improve before I step on the Olympia stage. Olympia prep starts today!💪
