MONDAY, September 2nd 2013 DO NOT FRET FOR ANYTHING PST.HETTY Have no cares; but in everything with prayer and praise put your requests before God. Philippians 4:6(BBE) Anxiety is presently one of the world’s greatest and silent killers. A lot of folks have passed on because of anxiety. This emotional state I call ‘an agitation of the human mind because of unresolved challenges’. Many aged persons have died as result anxieties resulting in cardiac arrests. The lord tells us how to go about challenges from the scripture above. We are to ignore the presence of the daunting challenges before us and reckon God’s words to be true.’ True’ in what sense? God says in his words that we have been made ‘more than conquerors’ that is, we are now in a class where we influence everything around us including our mood, challenges, relationships with our loved ones and father God, even our finances, you name it! We are empowered by God to be in charge of our lives. It is these beautiful revelations I have from God’s word and you should think about this. This explains why we are to offer thanks to God in all situations even if it is contrary to our expectations. Did he not promise to meet all our expectations in life? Yes he did! So beloved, why should you be down cast? In everything through the channel of prayers and thanksgiving bring forth your desires to the lord. Our lord Jesus asked how many of you by being anxious can add one cubit to his height or lengthen all through the days of his life on earth? ‘None’ is the candid answer. Regardless of how bad we feel or moody our thoughts are, nothing is going to change. But a joy filled heart with firm trust in God’s promises will make all the difference. Go about your day today with joyful expectation and you will radiate joy and confidence to those around you. PRAYER OF DECLARATION God’s word is working for me. Everything around me is going on fine. I have no reason to doubt God’s promises concerning me .Anxiety that comes as a result of lack of trust in God’s words is far from me. It is a new day for me. Halleluyah!
