MONDAYS FUN FLEX-TIVITY IDEA! THE JUMPFLEX COLOUR HUNT; Early haptic learning and preschooler autumn/winter fun! 1/ Use card or paints to make colour coded containers - a set for each little hunter! 2/ The kids go rampant filling the container with colour coded items and trinkets! It could be anything - leaves, toys, paper scraps! Use songs/chanting and body actions to guide and accompany your little hunter(s)! 3/ Mix the game up! Have a contest for the kids to see who can find the most items - different seasons have different colours! Get the kids out and about to help their collection grow! 4/ Encourage memory based locating! Surely youve seen a blue toy around here somewhere.. :) 5/ Count out the colored items! See what colors are the most common - See what the rare colors around the house are! Inspire drive and see who gets the most uncommonly colored things! 6/ Make lasting memories and shift cognitive learning to a more haptic hands-on experience - you can make a Rainbow Collage or other art, try to base it on the colours the young ones come across. Finally, 7/ Post your art creations/color hunt experiences to the Jumpflex Facebook or Twitter!!! Each art entry/photo compilation will win a set of ColorPlay balls!!
