MONEY, MONEY, MONEY: Its because many of us still have a strong emotional charge and heavy judgment around money that it doesnt come to us. My own bank account is down to $1.57. Didnt know whether to laugh or cry when I saw that except that I stopped defining my self worth in that way long ago. So I had a few anxious and restless days and thought: This is bullshit. I am a smart, capable person and why am I letting green paper stop me from moving forward with my plans to create a movement to empower and educate and inspire people and communities when I am currently feeling so financially disempowered, disillusioned and frustrated myself? And I got it, it is that EXACT mindset that keeps money away from me. Any version of us and them like those greedy bastards that run the world kind of thoughts will split and diminish the manifesting energies and capabilities. And forced gratitude from a place of guilt I should be grateful for all that I do have isnt the same as genuine appreciation that arises naturally. So you see money as a challenging friend. One who doesnt want to spend time with you no matter how hard you try to convince or entice her/him. And thats the old patriarchal energy which is what created money in the first place. Ironic. So you cant be altruistic OR selfish. You need to be innovative and trust that the larger visions are still unfolding even though we feel stymied or delayed or inadequate or overwhelmed. So you have a temper tantrum, cocoon a bit and come at it fresh after a step back and a rest. And you remember that new energy or solutions cant be created from outdated thinking or from pushing and forcing. So you stop pushing the river and you learn to float a little. You dont let go of the passion but you ease up on the urgency. And you trust. Because thats the way back to peace. And thats how the new will be born. From there. Not from green paper. ~Courtney A.
