MONGOLIA, GERMANY TO INTENSIFY DEFENSE COOPERATION Mongolia and Germany have agreed to boost bilateral relations and cooperation in the defense sector, especially in peacekeeping operations and military training and exercise. The two countries reached this agreement at the 10th consecutive defense ministry meeting held in Germany 10 June. Both countries shared views on defense ties and cooperation, which have been intensively developed in the framework of bilateral comprehensive partnership relationship. They also expressed satisfaction with the joint services of Mongolian and German peacekeepers in Afghanistan since 2009. Since the establishment of the military diplomatic relations 20 years ago, bilateral relations have also been developing in the political and economic sectors.
