MONTH OF THANKS...DAY 4 - I MAM THANKFUL FOR TRUTH THINKING OVER POSITIVE THINKING: I have come to accept that life is filled with trials and struggles, but through it all, my strength continues to increase by refocusing my thoughts on the good things in each day. “I can CHOOSE to feel happy, I know there is something good in every day. I can believe that God is invested in me and my daily life. I can choose to look for the rainbow in every downpour.” We need to focus on everything in each day that is good and positive, no matter how small or insignificant it may seem to be. Of course each day also has it’s struggles and trials, but focusing on the positive provides an uplift to our spirit, change in our attitude, and our energy that gives us the power to keep going forward and getting through the struggles. And then … VICTORY is celebrated. I can focus on the beauty of the fall colors, images of what motivates me, and read Godly uplifting messages from FB friends. I just keep going forward, and though it has not been easy at times, by the grace and mercy of God I have inched forward. I believe in Truth Thinking over Positive Thinking. It takes working at it on a daily basis, which builds on whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things (Philippians 4:8). It is incredibly amazing to see how that attitude attracts amazing changes in my world around me. I get completely unexpected emails, phone calls, work opportunities … Then it seems something comes along to challenge that upbeat energy, and I really have to focus to stand strong to not fall into fear, doubt, distress, worry … I can see every day that new opportunities are opening up, because I make sure to continuously tell myself to choose today who I will serve and all the benefits because of that choice and to keep life going forward with God’s help and direction. I wish the best of all Truth thoughts, feelings, and experiences for all of you!!! IT’S GONNA BE A GREAT DAY!
