MORE ONTOGENY CHANGES EVERYTHING: The Economist magazine just published a report on the ontogeny changes everything symposium organized by MOR Horner Lab at the 2013 annual meeting of the Society of Vertebrate Paleontology. The short article focuses on the presentations of regular Horner Lab collaborator Prof. Mark Goodwin (UCMP), and MOR PhD student Denver Fowler, discussing change in skull ornamentation in the dome-headed pachycephalosaurs, and how the growth strategy of dinosaurs may have been a factor in their extinction at the Cretaceous-Tertiary boundary.
