MORE POLITICAL TROUBLES FOR GOVERNOR RAMALAN YERO OF KADUNA STATE!. Governor Ramalan Yaro of Kaduna State is facing mountains of huddles against his political reelection comes 2015. Apart from his non performance, and his failure to deliver the dividend of democracy to the people of Kaduna State, on the political front, the governor is facing stiff resistance and continued dissatisfaction from the states mainstream politicians and pressure groups. The latest coming from the political associates of late governor Patrick Ibrahim Yakowa. We would recalled that few days ago, political appointees, and elected members from southern Kaduna in a kangaroo-like style met and purportedly endorsed Governor Yero for a second term. This was a fall-out from earlier endorsement of the said governor few weeks ago by some politicians and political appointees from Zaria and environs. This latest Yeros reelection trouble started two days ago, when the Political associates of late governor Patrick Ibrahim Yakowa, not only vehemently denied/dissociated themselves from the purported Southern Kaduna endorsement of the governor, but the group which is headed by Yakowas Chief of Staff Mr. Aboki Galadima vowed to mobilize and work to scuttle governor Yeros 2015 reelection bid. Among the general complaints and growing dissatisfaction of the Yero administration are, total abandonment of the developmental projects started by late Yakowa, total neglect of the Southern Kaduna people, abandoning and neglect of Yakowas political associates, and the general direction less, and performance less disposition of the Yero administration. Part of the strategies of the late Yakowa group is to fill his (the late Yakowas) political strategist, and his governments former Secretary to the state government, Alhaji Lawal Samaila Yakawada to contest the PDP governorship primaries with governor Yero. Given the general discontent and anger against the Yero administration among the indigenes of Southern Kaduna in particular and most Kaduna State PDP members in general, Yero may not survive beyond his Partys primary election, despite his incumbency factor. Governor Yeros reelection challenge is further compounded by two other problems; 1) the governors rumored lack of support, and endorsement by his godfather and political mentor, Vice President Namadi Sambo. 2) the governor is mainly surrounded by personal friends and political paper weights. These factors, and the general discontentment, and the governors disconnect, with both card carrying PDP members and voters constitute serious threats to Ramalan Yeros quest for continued occupation of Sir Kashim Ibrahim house Kaduna beyond 2015. Given the historical antecedent of Southern Kaduna, being the political game changer on who becomes the governor of Kaduna State, and we are sure even the Vice President can attest to that, this further compounds the political nightmare and mountains of governor Yeros insomnia. Specifically, we were living witnesses during the PDP gubernatorial primary election of 2007 which saw Namadi Sambo emerged as the partys gubernatorial candidate, but only after a runner-up between Mr. Isaah Ballat, the then official sponsored candidate of Southern Kaduna (this further underscores the importance of Southern Kaduna in shaping the political direction on who becomes the governor of Kaduna State).
