MOREIRA CHONGUICA COLLABORATES WITH CARROL BOYES, MARIAS LIFESTYLE STORE AND NADIR TATI TO CREATE AN AFRICAN INSPIRED RANGE OF WINE Cape Town – MOREIRA CHONGUICA, award-winning musician and social entrepreneur is collaborating with well known South African artist and designer CARROL BOYES to create a range of wine that will have his signature on the label. The unique limited edition wine was recently launched by CARROL BOYES and her brother, farmer and financier, JOHN BOYES. In association with MARIA’s LIFESTYLE STORE that has the exclusive agency for CARROL BOYES FUNCTIONAL ART AND WINE in Angola and Mozambique, MOREIRA, as a recognised personality and social entrepreneur in Mozambique, has agreed to lend his signature to the wine to give it a unique Mozambique flavour. The same has been done with internationally re-known Angolan fashion designer, NADIR TATI for the wine being distributed in Angola. At a function to be held on Wednesday 1 October 2014 at the CARROL BOYES head office in Cape Town, the collaboration will formally be acknowledged. The consulate of Mozambique in Cape Town, Senora Amelia Zandamela will be attending. “It is a great honour for me to be associated with such an iconic brand such as CARROL BOYES, and I am looking forward to introducing her to the rich heritage and culture that is available in Mozambique and I know that Mozambicans will love her functional art and her wines” says Moreira. /ends
