MORIWAKI GLOBAL NEWS: YUKI TAKAHASHI, POLE-POSITION in ALL JAPAN CHAMPIONSHIP, JGP2 CLASS, 4.26 AUTOPOLIS: MORIWAKI Racing and Yuki Takahashi, participating in MFJ All Japan Championship Series JGP2 Class, have had an exciting and positive start to the season in the opening round, Autopolis International Racing Course, by grabbing a pole-position with a new track record of 1’51.572. Among total of 24 entrants, the qualifying practice on the 26th April was as close as top four riders to break the lap record. Toward the race day, 27th April, a close and high level battle is expected not only among the riders but among different tire manufacturers, but we think that Yuki is physically and mentally ready for the podium finish. Comment: YUKI TAKAHASHI #72 “It’s been a good ten years since I last raced in All Japan, and race regulations and other little things differ from that of the GP’s which made me a little confused in the beginning. But the aim of my challenge this year is “restarting” or “re-constructing”, if you will, my racing career with Moriwaki, and I am very happy for the fact that I was able to win a pole position in the very opening round of JGP2 which I must add the fact that the level of competition is very high. I and my team have been working very hard for this season, and I do not hesitate to say that we are a new team and there are still things we can improve, which makes today’s pole even more special. For the race, I will be doing the best I can to win it.”
