MORNING MOTIVATION: THIS DAY 60 YEARS AGO! Remember your leaders and superiors in authority [for it was they] who brought to you the Word of God. Observe attentively and consider their manner of living (the outcome of their well- spent lives) and imitate their faith ( their conviction that God exists and is the Creator and Ruler of all things, the Provider and Bestower of eternal salvation through Christ, and their leaning of the entire human personality on God in absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness) (Heb 13:7AMP) Friend, this day, join me in celebrating the life and birthday of Bishop David O Oyedepo, my frontline mentor, inspiration, my apostle, my rich dad, and my prophet in whose footsteps I walk and the eagle on whose wings I fly. Since I encountered this man in 2002, my faith life changed gear and the impartations I have received from him have made me another man. He has given me an identity and a voice. In him I see a picture of to what length, breadth, width, height God can take a man who choses to follow and obey him whole heartedly. In him I see proof that God is no respecter of persons. In him I see the power of maximized potential. He was called alone in 1981 and out of him has come out all that we see and hear: millions of his followers, thousands of church branches, primary schools, secondary schools, universities, the largest church auditorium in the world etc. We speak with confidence and command some following, because we have been privileged to enter into the labour and sacrifices of this man: Bishop David Oyedepo. At age 60, he is a global phemenon, an icon, a revered mentor of giants with accomplishments that can never much his age. Accordingly, as his followers, we can never end any less. He is a secure leader who has said several times: all the grace that I carry receive it! In your life time, your accomplishments will make mine look like childs play. This is why I am not ashamed to call him Papa and to associate with his ministry. He has been a blessing to me and the world. Join me in saying: Happy 60th birthday Bishop David Oyedepo! Great! You have just sown a seed to live, not just long but impactful. Now position to receive a birthday gift from him this weekend. Shalom!
