MORNING NEWS: October 28, 2014 MAKERERE TO HOST MEGA TOURISM SYMPOSIUM TODAY Makerere University Tourism Association(MUTA) has organised a tourism Symposium under the theme: “Unlocking potentials and opportunities in Uganda’s tourism sector”, at Food Science and Technolgy hall at 1Pm,today afternoon. The symposium is expected to attract the tourism students fraternity, lecturers of tourism, members of the Private sector, officials from government tourism agencies and Miss Tourism ambassadors. The aim of this event is to gather experts from the tourism sector to share their knowledge and experience on business, conservation and tourism promotion as a way of continuous learning. Otafiire Elly Rwomuhariko, MUTA President has confirmed a panel consisting of Dr. Stephen Asiimwe(UTB CEO), Babra Adoso Vanhelleputte(ACIS)-AUTO Board Chair, Herbert Byaruhanga(UTA President), Ambassador Queen Babirye Patricia Ntale Miss Tourism 2014 and Samuel Amanya(UWA Conservation).
