MORNING PRAYER AND OFFERING Act of Thanksgiving From the depths of my heart i thank You, dear Lord, for Your infinite kindness in coming to me. how good You are to me! with Your most Holy Mother and all the angels, i praise Your mercy and generosity toward me, a poor sinner. I thank You for nourishing my soul with Your Sacred Body and Precious Blood. I will try to show my gratitude to You in the Sacrament of Your Love, by obedience to Your Holy Commandments, by fidelity to my duties, by kindness to my neighbor, and by an earnest endeavor to become more like You in my daily conduct. Amen. Act of Offering Jesus, You have given Yourself to me, now let me give myself to You; i give You my body, that it may be chaste and pure, i give You my soul, that it may be free from sin. Igive You my heart, that it may always love You, i give You every thought, word, and deed of my life, and i offer all for Your Honor and Glory. Amen. Morning Offering Most Holy and Adorable Trinity, One God in Three Persons, i praise You and give You thanks for all the favors You have bestowed upon me. Your goodness has preserved me until now. I offer You my whole being and in particular all my thoughts, words, and deeds, together with all the trials and all the joy i may undergo today. Give them Your blessing. May Your Divine Love animate them and may they serve Your Greater Glory. I make this morning offering in union with the Divine Intentions of Jesus Christ who offers Himself daily in the Holy Sacrafice of the Mass. And in union with Mary, His Virgin Mother and our Mother, who was always The Faithful Handmaid of The Lord. Glory be to The Father Glory be to The Son Glory be to The Holy Spirit Amen. Prayer For Divine Guidance Through The Day Lord, God Almighty, You have brought us safely to the beginning of this day. Defend us today by Your mighty power, that we may not fall into any sin, but that all our words may so proceed and all our thoughts and actions be so directed, as to be always just in Your sight. Through Christ our Lord. Amen. Prayer of St. Francis Make me a channel of Your Peace. Where there is hatred let me bring Your Love. Where there is injury, pardon, Lord. And where theres doubt, true faith in You. Make me a channel of Your Peace. Where theres despair in life, let me bring hope. where there is darkness, only light. And where theres sadness, ever joy. O Master, grant that i may never seek so much to be consoled as to console. To be understood, as to understand. To be loved, as to love with all my soul. Make me a channel of Your Peace. It is in pardoning that we are pardoned. In giving of ourselves that we receive. And in dying that were born to eternal life. Amen. Act of Love Jesus, my God, i love You with my whole heart and above all things because You are the One Supreme Good and an Infinitely Perfect being. You have given Your life for me, a poor sinner, and in Your mercy You have even offered Yourself as food for my soul. My God, i love You, inflame my heart so that i may love You more. Amen. Prayer For Peace and Joy Jesus, i want to rejoice in You always. You are near. Let me have no anxiety, but in every concern by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving i wish to let my petitions be made known in my communing with God. May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard my heart and my thoughts in You. Amen. Prayer For Civil Authorities Almighty and Everlasting God, You direct the powers and laws of all nations; mercifully regard those who rule over us, that by Your protecting right hand, the integrity of religion and the security of each country might prevail everywhere on earth. through Christ our Lord. Amen. Prayer To Know Gods Will God, The Father of Our Lord Jesus Christ, the Author of Glory, grant me spiritual wisdom and revelation. Enlighten the eyes of my mind with a deep knowledge of You and Your Holy Will. May i understand of what nature is the hope to which You call me, what is the wealth of the splendor of Your inheritance among the saints, and what is the surpassing greatness of Your Power toward me. Through Christ Our Lord. Amen. Prayer For Religious Vocations Father, You call all who believe in You to grow perfect in love by following in the footsteps of Christ Your Son. May those whom You have chosen to serve You as religious provide by their way of life a convincing sign of Your Kingdom for the Church of the whole world. Through Christ Our Lord. Amen. Texts For The Penitent Lord Jesus, You opened the eyes of the blind, healed the sick, forgave the sinful woman, and after peters denial confirmed him in Your Love. Listen to my prayer. Forgive all my sins. Renew Your Love in my heart. Help me to live in perfect unity with my fellow Christians, that i may proclaim Your saving power to all the world. Amen. Thoroughly wash me from my guilt and of my sin cleanse me. For i acknowledge my offense, and my sin is before me always. Amen. My God, i am sorry for my sins with all my heart. Through the Grace of The Holy Spirit restore me to friendship with Your Father, Cleanse me from every stain of sin in the blood You shed for me, and raise me to new life for the Glory of Your Name. Thanks be to God. Amen. Ephesians 1:17-23 Brothers and sisters, may the God of Our Lord Jesus Christ, The Father of Glory, give you a Spirit of wisdom and revelation resulting in knowledge of Him. May the eyes of your hearts be enlightened that you may know what is the hope that belongs to His Call, what are the riches of glory in His Inheritance among the holy ones, and what is the surpassing greatness of His Power for us who believe in accord with the exercise of His Great Might, which He worked in Christ, raising Him from the dead and seating Him at His Right Hand in the heavens, far above every principality, authority, power, and dominion, and every name that is named not only in this age but also in the one to come. And He put all things beneath His feet and gave Him as head over all things to the Church, which is His Body, the fullness of The One who fills all things in every way--The Word of The Lord.
