MORNING RITUAL: +Rise before dawn for chi self-massage to say good-morning to my nervous system as politely as possible. Make tea while doing this because I still lean on caffeine more than necessary. +Go outside with my antlers, barefoot and in shorts because I want maximum earth/sun energy and because: Florida. +Some warm up motions while chanting briefly the Tantric mantra to Sri Ganesh. (It is the start of something, after all). +Turn east as the sky gets beautiful. Raise antlers and chant the Gayatri Mantra, the Vedic adoration of the Spiritual and Physical Sun. I do this as slowly as possible with full vibration of each syllable and with full breaths. I try to expand with each inhalation and repetition. It is a test after a while because holding things over your head really targets the stress areas in the shoulders. Apart from being the sign of raising oneself in adoration, rather than lowering oneself in supplication (as a Thelemite, I raise myself in worship rather than lower.)........Holding this pose is supposed to increase testosterone if maintained more than two minutes. Harder than it looks but it is meant to make me harder than I look. +I then lower my arms once trembling and sweating and go into a dance involving waving the antlers while breathing the energy from the holy directions...sort of a self-developing qigong and dance ritual exercise. I love to see new moves emerge as it continues each day. +I then try to put myself in musical mode right away, singing to the rising sun and playing with my lyre. This is important for me, to turn on my creative circuits without it being at night and while drunk or stoned. +I try to write my thoughts down and have some time with myself before I jump online like I am doing now. This helps prevent the toxic internet sickness from which I was suffering from jumping on first thing in the morning. +I am working more direct physical workout into it with the antlers still involved. Current exercise that I am about to do right now is the Satyr Squats which is basically doing basic squats but while holding the antlers as my (light for most but perfect for me) weights. +The purpose of this is to prepare my body and mind and then tune it in to the Creative Solar Spirit first thing each day so that I may live a life entirely devoted to art in whatever I do. ......................................................
