MORNING VERSES: Psalm 34:8-10 KJV O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him. O fear the LORD, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him.כ The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the LORD shall not want any good thing. ROLAND KLINE Romans 12:4-5 KJV For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office: So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another. EVENING VERSES: Romans 8:26-27 KJV Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God. INSIGHT: Sometimes our prayers seem to bounce off the ceiling and fall to the floor. Other times, we are overcome with emotion and the words of our prayers cant capture whats in our hearts. Thank God for the assurance that the power of our prayers is not dependent upon our words, but upon his grace given us by the Holy Spirits intercession! PRAYER: Holy God and Loving Father, thank you for giving me the gift of the Holy Spirit, through whom I have the ultimate assurance that you hear my words, my thoughts, and my heart when I pray. In Jesus name. Amen. ROLAND KLINE John 15:11 KJV These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full. Insight When things are going well, we feel elated. When hardships come, we sink into depression. But true joy transcends the rolling waves of circumstance. Joy comes from a consistent relationship with Jesus Christ. Challenge When our lives are intertwined with his, he will help us walk through adversity without sinking into debilitating lows and manage prosperity without moving into deceptive highs. The joy of living with Jesus Christ daily will keep us levelheaded, no matter how high or low our circumstances.
