MOSES EMERSON GBETUWA THE IMPOSTOR! When a harebrained and delusional young man takes it upon himself to claim that he is the NUSS president, surrounds himself with a group of power-drunk and ill-advised elements, deceives them that he will succeed to appoint himself to that enviable position without lawful authority in an enlightened environment like ours, then it becomes very clear that only those in a trance-like state - those living in a world of fantasy, a world of Amos Tutuola - will attach any seriousness to a misapprehension of that intensity While Gbetuwa and his henchmen labour under the delusion that they are making headway, they only succeed in transmuting themselves into objects of humour. How can anyone be that removed from reality? The various plots the villains have machinated have all boomeranged into a miasma of excruciating disappointment: The illegal call for the dissolution of the Sheridan-led NUSS executive - a very legitimate executive at that - was treated with the disapproval it deserved. The idiotic and unpatriotic call for civil disobedience, in a time like this, was seen by well-meaning students as the most unpatriotic statement ever uttered in the history of this country; and as was expected, that reckless call was dispatched to the flames, like the Barren Tree in the Bible. The idiocies the mentally-handicapped Gbetuwa articulated in his letters have only shown what is to be expected from a despicable impostor. But what is very clear is the fact that he and his deranged devotees are riding on a dead horse. That one is manifestly clear!!! While Sheridan and his executive are working tirelessly to not only help put a quick end to the epidemic but also to ensure the resumption of schools and colleges within the shortest possible time, the moron of a Gbetuwa is calling for civil disobedience. While Sheridan enjoys the endorsement of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Gbetuwa takes pride in impersonation. While Sheridan takes considerable pleasure in the support of Students Unions across the country that form the membership of NUSS, Gbetuwa claims UNIMAK as his support base, a college that is yet to be incorporated into NUSS. What a show of ignorance! MMCET, IAMTECH, FTC, GTI, EBK University, Port Loko Campus, EBK University, Northern Polytechnic, Eastern Polytechnic, all of whose Students Unions have elected presidents, are solidly behind Prezo Sheridan, and the support of these campuses is more than a quorum. It is unfortunate that USL and Njala University are currently without elected students representatives in their campuses, as they did not conduct Students Union elections. But that does not in anyway suggest that NUSS cannot go on with its activities without them. Sheridan has the luxury of the unflinching support of various campuses across the country. So keep the good work Prezo Sheridan. Dont allow yourself to be distracted by a bunch of jokers. We are firmly behind you! I know Gbetuwa and members of his ill-fated cabal are desperate to get themselves plucked out of the ashes of obscurity, but there are more decent ways to do it.
