MOST SHAMEFUL… Congratulations go to the government, kommatokratia and petty-politicians for reducing our proud nation to a pauper state. The human tragedy they have caused to ordinary families can bring tears into one’s eyes! Yet, without remorse, the government and politicians continue their arrogant spin on television chat shows to convince us that all is moving well and according to plan; what plan? If they cared to look with their eyes wide open, they will see the real picture of their incompetence. Food charity centres are running out of supplies and hundreds of families are turned away to go hungry. It has been reported that one charity in Paphos that feeds over one thousand (1000) families (jumped from 20 not long ago), was forced to close its doors and turn away over 100 families for running out of food provisions. The news caused a riot and people became hysterical and broke down in tears with hair-splitting cries of desperation. The destitute kept begging for food but there was none to give. Women entered into morbid wailing in the streets realizing they will go home empty handed without food or milk for their children. It’s heart breaking to see innocent people reach so low because of other people’s mistakes. Where is our “caring” government to ensure these centres are well stocked up – it’s the least they can do for ruining the country! Why don’t the president and his wealthy family or the politicians and Kommata (political parties) leadership establish and finance such centres to show they actually truly care?
