MOTHERS DESK: We dont forbid our 3y.o Athena to talk along with big ones. I even encourage her to do such,to boost her confidence.I want her to grow up believing that her views are valid only when put in the proper perspective.But it was a reminder that whenevr she wants to get somebodys attention always say EXCUSE first or wait until he/shes done talking.We dont know how she would take it or when will she learn to do it,we just teach and teach.True enough,last night while her dad Rhusser and Tito Alfons were talking and she wanted to show them something she said first EXCUSE ME TITO and they listened to her.The 2nd time she excused herself, i interrupted her and told her to wait until theyre done talking and oh she did. Only,when i joined in their conversation she also told me MOMI?DADDY and TITO are still TalKING, QUIET,Ssssh. ME: Ow Sorry.Ssshhh. No choice I had to practice what i teach. ***So i believe,they learn early if we teach them early lets just TRUST their individual capacity.They can do more than we think.We are just sometimes carried away by the idea that THEY ARE JUST KIDS*** #Parenting101 #JustAThought
