MOTIVATIONAL MONDAY By Miriam Mukasa FEEL THE FEAR BUT DO IT ANYWAY! Look around you. Who do you admire, look up to, deem as successful, wish you were? How do they walk, talk, and carry themselves? Are they full of confidence, full of optimism, display very little fear? Are they brave? Are they risk takers? Do you wish you were as fearless as they seem to be? QUESTION: Do successful people lack fear? Truth is, speak to any successful person be they in business, sports, acting, or the corporate world, and one thing that will surprise you is this: successful people have fear and face a battle with fear just like you and I however, what separates them from normal people is, successful people are able to turn this negative energy into positive energy. Unlike most people who can only dream and fantasize about what could have been, thus allowing fear to paralyze them into doing nothing, successful people turn this fear into the adrenalin that is required to push themselves forward. Yes, they feel the fear but they do it anyway! They start businesses, they invest, they sacrifice today for a better tomorrow, they train hard in sports, they face rejection after rejection and still they go on. They focus on goals and nothing gets in their way - not even fear. So, the time for excuses ends today. Yes, you will face rejection and you will face failure but guess what?
