MOUNT WOLF Joan E. (Mundis) Raffensberger, 72, of Mount Wolf, died peacefully at 12:25 a.m. Thursday, January 30, 2014, at York Hospital. Joan was born January 28, 1942, in York and was the daughter of the late Warren Barney and Mary (Kauffman) Mundis. She graduated from Northeastern High School in 1959 and was a homemaker. Joan cherished her memories of growing up with her extended family at Mundis Mills. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, playing bingo, vacationing at the shore and making people laugh. Joan is survived by her daughter, Beth Izzo and her husband Chris of Mount Wolf; son, Bret Raffensberger of Manchester; two grandchildren, Grant Izzo and his fiancee Ally Sharer, and Katie Izzo and her fiance Brad Spangler; and a brother, Robert Mundis. A celebration of Joans life will be private at her request. Arrangements have been entrusted to The Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Mount Wolf.
