MOVIE MATTERS: Edge of Tomorrow 8.5/10 How is it that Tom Cruise looks YOUNGER every year??? The older I become, the closer he gets to 30. Cruise looks so young in this movie, it makes me want to reconsider scientology! Is that what keeps him looking so healthy? Or maybe I should marry Katie Holmes. All I can tell you is that Edge of Tomorrow will keep you on the edge of your seat. There are so many things to like about this movie I lost count. Its fast-paced, funny, filled with great special fx (done well enough that I forgot they werent real). Normally movies like this annoy the crap out of me because I feel like Im watching a video game. This movie, however, did a great job of marrying live action with computer animation. It was easy to get lost in the story. Emily Blunt –Beautiful. General casting – flawless. Writing – entertaining and suspenseful. Directing – I dont know how they do it. These movies are created on such a massive scale they are well beyond my comprehension. I just sit back, eat my popcorn and enjoy.
