MP of London fearful for families facing deportation orders. I feel as Canadians we dont even understand our own immigration rules and how they are applied at the ports of entry. The rules that Ministers and officers follow and apply, sometimes using discretion, are born out of Policies. Until we (the policy makers) are open to examining and reviewing our policies under Temporary Residency (Note, I didnt say Permanent Residency), we cannot expect to see progress.
