MPNMRR Day #5: Jasper to Edmonton for the National Riders and Team AB while Team BC starts their two/three day trek home to Victoria. Well this will be my last National post with respect to the ride. This morning at 0700 hrs we were all treated to a wonderful and mouth watering breakfast of special Breakfast Burritos from Co-Cos Café, another of our sponsors in Jasper, AB/BC. Specialized coffee and out of your mind muffins to get the riders on their way. All riders were present and while we were getting ready to say our good-byes, our guest Padre Dave once again too time to bless our bikes and wish us safe travels. Yury had Team AB well in hand and then under his watchful care, he made his way out of town and off to Edmonton with the National Riders and his band of Team AB riders. Team BC staying in Jasper until noonish taking the time to enjoy the town, for the first time in 6 years. We then mounted up our 8 bikes and support vehicle and headed off to Mount Robinson to take in its natural beauty and then off to our host hotel - Yellow Head Motel, Valemount, BC where we will take a few to relax before being hosted by the RCL for supper and their famous homemade hamburgers. We will keep an eye on Shawn this year to make sure the swear jar does not get used that much. We will have our new riders and guest visit the outstanding and wonderfully maintained military museum upstairs. More info and pics will follow later this evening.
