MPV-DC and Light of Reform Mosque meet at the Cleveland Park Public Library, 2nd Floor Meeting Room, 3310 Connecticut Avenue, NW at Macomb Street. If using public transportation, take the Redline - Cleveland Park Metro. Our bi-weekly Saturday afternoon meetings begin at 1:00 pm and end at 4:00 pm. It includes a short MPV-DC group meeting, a halaqa (Quran) study class, zikr, and afternoon prayer. Besides our twice a month meet-up, there are other on-going monthly events. We will restart a 1st Saturday and 3rd Sunday afternoon brunch at a local restaurant, and a final Saturday of the month movie night. We need at least 4 to 5 people for these events, so please ask people to RSVP and attend. We also notify members about events of interest in the DC-MD-VA area relating to Islamic or Middle Eastern culture. These include films, art exhibits, lectures and other things of interest to our community. We are developing a lecture series for the 2014 year, planning to bring local scholars and activists to speak. Please check our calendar regularly for further information.
