MQ: Im a first time mom and Im TERRIFIED of SIDS. When my son was 4 days old he was hospitalized for jaundice and they noticed when he sleeps he stops breathing for a couple seconds, so they set us home with a heart & respiration monitor. Were having issues with military insurance and switching doctors and all that so they took away his monitor until everything is situated. I can barely sleep because Im watching my son breathe. Ive already been diagnosed with postpartum anxiety and started a medication and this makes it 20 times worse. Im doing everything right. Hes a month today and excursively breastfed, sleeps in his pack & play next to our bed, which has nothing in it, he only sleeps in one layer, and falls asleep with a pacifier in his mouth on his back.
