MSPB Coaches Spotlight: MSPB will feature spotlights on people who have or are contributing to baseball in a positive manner, assisting in the development of young men. Spotlight On: Keith Madison Keith served as head coach at University of Kentucky for 25 years winning 737 games and influencing countless of players who serve the sport in some manner. Keith is the Publisher of Inside Pitch Magazine and is National Baseball Director of Score International, where he leads mission trips to the Dominican Republic and sends a bimonthly motivational devotional message to over a thousand coaches. I have not personally met Keith, I have spoken to him on the phone a couple of times but I do see his influence on former players from across the country who i do business with. Keith continues to develop and give back to the sport he loves. Building a winning program is about developing each person that comes through and making an impact on their lives. Keith is at the top of his game even after retiring from coaching, continuing to lead and set example of how things are supposed to be done. When choosing a college for your son, make sure the coach of that program is the person you want your son to be around for 4 years and can be a resource for his development when baseball is over.
