#MSwx - Good Morning Mississippi! Temperatures this morning are rather mild thanks to the overnight cloud cover, which helped to act as a blanket and hold in some of yesterdays heat. Well start the day in the low-60s under cloudy skies. Make sure to grab that umbrella as you head out the door because rain is moving in and we could see our first rain showers just before or right around lunch time. The rain will be scattered at first, but more widespread rain will move in by the late afternoon and evening hours. Some areas could see over 1 of rain, but most of us will get much less than that by the time all is said and done on Thursday afternoon. Behind this front, temperatures will cool quickly, with highs on Friday only reaching the upper-50s and overnight lows in the upper-30s by Saturday morning. Temps will rebound briefly through the beginning of next week but LOOK OUT for the middle of next week. An early blast of winter temperatures look to head our way. It looks like we could see the thermometer drop anywhere between 15-20° below average by next Wednesday. Enjoy those mild temperatures while we have them!
