MTN FAZ SUPER LEAGUE ACTION RETURNS The MTN FAZ Super League - TopicsExpress

MTN FAZ SUPER LEAGUE ACTION RETURNS The MTN FAZ Super League returns this weekend with week 15 action after a three week break that paved way for Zambia’s successful hosting of the Cosafa Cup from 6th to 20th July. The fixture between Red Arrows (23 points) and Nkana (32 points) has however been postponed to a later date owing to the number of players both clubs have contributed to the national team for the African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifier against Botswana on Saturday. Second placed Zesco United host fourth placed Nchanga Rangers in the top of the bill clash at Mwanawasa Stadium. Zesco United will be without skipper Kondwani Mtonga while Nchanga will miss the services of Alex Ngonga and Bonwell Mwape. All three will be with the national team in Botswana. Another mouth-watering fixture to look forward to will take place at Arthur Davies Stadium where last season’s runners-up Power Dynamos host reigning champions Zanaco. Power Dynamos will be buoyed by the fact that they defeated Zanaco in the 2013 Charity Shield final and will have the added advantage of playing in front of their supporters while Zanaco will be confident of carrying the day as they return for the first time to the stadium where they were crowned league champions with a win over Nkana last season. Elsewhere, Napsa Stars in eleventh will host high flying Nkwazi in eighth at Woodlands Stadium while Lime Hotpurs will travel a short distance to Kafubu Stadium where they face Roan United. Forest Rangers will be at home to Konkola Mine Police while Konkola Blades will host Kabwe Warriors at Konkola Stadium. Green Buffaloes will be away to Kalulushi Modern Stars.
