MUBI IN MY MIND A day of Sorrow A day of pain Tears raining down Like a heavy downpour I feel for the Good people of Mubi; the peace loving and Innocent. Mubi the Second Largest Town in Adamawa State was yesterday set on ablaze. People flee to unknown destination. They spent their night in the bush while thier minds was full of uncertainty. Their houses were left empty and their families were shattered - Women and Children can not be reached as the town was invaded as revealed by a friend. THINGS HAVE FALLEN APART and the centre cannot hold..... What wrong have the people of Mubi and the entirety of North east done to Nigerian Authorities that their lifes and properties are not worth? If Mubi has fallen what else remain in Adamawa? If women are taken away, Youths are killed, markets and schools are closed, administrative centres are burnt.....what else remain to be called a society? All this is happening while our politicians are busy engineering how to win 2015 elections. I wonder if they are even aware of what is happening or is it because they dont have human spirit in them?.....what a damn! Oh my good people! where ever you are you can offer something to these people. You might not able to go and meet them but your PRAYERS can do. Today, this is happening in Mubi who knows what will happen tomorrow?........ It can be your town or mine. Oh Allah the Lord of the Universe, The Creator and Sustainer, The Oniscient and Omnipotent, Grant the people of Mubi Peace, Bring them back to their homes and dressed them up with your Mercy and Protection. Oh Allah! no one has power or might except from you, We are all your powerless servants seeking for your help,.assistance and protection form this tragedy. Oh Allah! bring an end to this menace and make Nigeria a peaceful and pleasant place to live on earth for your servants to worship you..... Oh Allah accept our prayers, Amen.
